Muvee review

The version I tried out (MuveeNow) was easy to use. It had a limited number of styles or themes, but most of those included were useful. Due to the limited customization, I would try to avoid using any single theme too often. I particularly liked the Urban theme. It would have been nice to be able to customize the “graffiti.” I also liked the Sepia and Moody, particularly with slower music.

I kept the test videos relatively short and the software worked well. When I tried to make a longer video (over four minutes) the software slowed considerably. This may have been due to the processor on the laptop I was using. It also started to crash consistently when trying to output the video to Quicktime or WMV.

I’ll try it out a little more, but right now it doesn’t look like a keeper.
